The Clinical Value of Adding Whimsy to Art Therapy
Join us for a Continuing Education (CE) art therapy workshop focused on incorporating whimsy into clinical practice. This workshop will explore how elements of play, imagination, and lightness can support therapeutic goals, enhance client engagement, and create space for new perspectives within the therapeutic relationship.
Amid ongoing global and societal stressors, intentionally making room for whimsy can be a vital and grounding clinical tool—helping both therapists and clients access resilience, flexibility, and moments of relief.

Cost: $60
Participants are encouraged to bring their own art materials. While geared toward art therapists seeking CE enrichment, this workshop is open to anyone interested in integrating creativity into clinical work, or anyone wanting a bit more whimsy in their artmaking.
Proof of CE will be provided upon completion of the workshop. The ATCB serves as the credentialing body.
