Through collaborative art making, participants work together to develop and nurture healthy friendships in a safe, supportive small-group setting. Indigo's sensory-friendly environment with designated sensory down-time areas, open-ended and choice-based art stations, and a wide variety of adaptive communication and art-making tools accommodate for a wide range of needs and abilities.
Current available days and times for this group are: Tuesdays at 3:30-4:30 and Wednesdays at 10:30-11:30.
A one-time intake evaluation is required for participation in all Indigo Art Therapy Programs. The evaluation session helps participants to know what to expect and helps the art therapists to determine which services will be the most beneficial. Individual art therapy sessions may be recommended before group therapy begins.
