Indigo Art Center, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization co-founded by Indigo Art Therapy Studio art therapists. Indigo Art Center is a creative day center for artists with disabilities, expected to be operational within the same space as Indigo Art Therapy Studio. We are currently raising seed funding for Indigo Art Center. All tax-exempt donations will go directly towards the organization's startup costs, including gallery and studio space, art supplies, and other operational expenses to help ensure accessible services.

Our vision is for artists with disabilities to be seen, heard, respected, valued, and included as insiders in the world of visual art.

Our mission is to serve, empower, and recognize professional and rising artists with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities by providing safe, accessible studio space for meaningful art making, vocational support in the field of visual art, inclusive art exhibitions, and adaptive art educational programming.

Career paths for artists with disabilities are not typically supported by traditional vocational programs and services due to the nature of the art world and its many inherent obstacles. We advocate for equal access within the field of visual art. Our organization values diverse abilities, cultures, backgrounds, communication styles, identities, and forms of creative expression within the arts.
