Art Therapy is an integrative mental health and human services profession that enriches the lives of individuals, families, and communities through active art-making, creative process, applied psychological theory, and human experience within a psychotherapeutic relationship.
Art therapy engages the mind, body, and spirit in ways that are distinct from verbal expression alone. At Indigo Art Therapy Studio, our board certified art therapists engage clients in the creative process and mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to address specific and measurable goals.
Our clients are often considered creative, gifted, or highly sensitive. We specialize in anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and trauma. Some symptoms we have experience in helping with include: sensory processing difficulties, coping with chronic illness, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, grief and loss, low self-esteem, self-harm, parenting support, and caregiver fatigue.
